Educational uploads and generated study materials may be retained as necessary to provide the relevant feature, preserve a user’s saved learning content, maintain service continuity, or satisfy legitimate operational requirements, unless deleted earlier by the user where that functionality is available or through a valid deletion request.

When an account is deleted, EzMedQ will delete or de-identify personal data associated with that account unless specific information must be retained for legitimate legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or regulatory reasons. Any retained information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.

11. User Rights and Requests

Subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification, users may request access to their personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of personal data, restriction of certain processing, clarification about how their information is used, or withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent and withdrawal is legally available.

12. Account and Data Deletion

Users may request permanent deletion of their EzMedQ account and personal data associated with that account. Account deletion is different from temporarily deactivating an account and is intended to remove the user’s account record and associated personal data, subject to limited lawful or legitimate retention requirements described in this Privacy Policy.

Users of the EzMedQ mobile application should be provided with an account-deletion pathway within the app. Where a web-based pathway is used, users may also initiate an account deletion request from this Privacy Policy page without needing to reinstall the mobile application.

After a valid deletion request is confirmed, EzMedQ will delete the account and associated personal data within a reasonably necessary period, except for information that EzMedQ must or is permitted to retain for legal compliance, accounting, payment records, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legitimate obligations. Where third-party service providers process data on behalf of EzMedQ, EzMedQ will take reasonable steps to request deletion of associated data from those providers where applicable.

Users will not be required to reinstall the EzMedQ mobile application solely to submit a web-based account deletion request.
